About Us Northern Civil Consulting Engineers Ltd is a Whangarei-based civil engineering enterprise owned and managed by its two directors, Steve Gibson and Clint Hanger. Steve established the practice in 1989. Clint joined the company one year later, becoming a full partner in 1999. In more than a decade of working together as project designers and managers, Steve and Clint have developed a remarkably high synergistic professional relationship which has taken the practice to the top of its profession in the Northland region. In that time the practice has successfully completed more than 80 roading projects worth in excess of $40 million for the transport infrastructure agencies of both national and local governments. At one point in recent years Northern Civil was supervising more Transit New Zealand projects throughout Northland than any other engineering company.
